elid is an educational tool that uses artificial intelligence to generate model answers, explanations, and example marking for A-Level-style exam questions. It is a study aid — not a source of guaranteed-correct answers, official marking, or professional advice.
You may use elid only if you can form a binding contract with us. elid is intended for students aged [16] and over. If you are under 18, you may use elid only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
elid exists to help you learn and revise. You are responsible for using it honestly and in line with the rules of your school, college, and exam board (e.g. CAIE, Edexcel, AQA, OCR, IB).
AI can be wrong. Generated answers may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information, and are produced automatically without human review. We make no warranty that any output is accurate, complete, or suitable for a particular exam or mark scheme. Always verify against your own materials and teacher guidance.
elid is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any examination board or awarding body. Exam-board names and syllabus references are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the material elid helps you study.
You agree not to:
elid offers a free tier with a daily usage limit and a paid Premium subscription with a higher daily limit. Current limits are shown in the app and may change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time; if a change materially reduces a paid benefit, see the Refund Policy.
Premium is a recurring monthly subscription. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, who handles billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Your subscription auto-renews each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation, renewal, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
elid, its interface, branding, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use elid and the answers it generates for your own study. You retain responsibility for the questions you submit.
elid relies on third parties including OpenAI (AI processing), Google Firebase (authentication, hosting, database, reCAPTCHA/App Check), and Lemon Squeezy (payments). Your use of elid is also subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for how data is shared.
elid is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for exam results, academic outcomes, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of elid. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including your statutory consumer rights).
You may stop using elid and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service. On termination, your right to use elid ends; sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date, and where appropriate we will notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / JURISDICTION], and disputes are subject to its courts, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
